Have you ever wanted a Basenji but weren’t quite sure if you were brave enough to take on their bold and mischievous personality? Or perhaps you adore the sweet, loyal nature of a Keeshond but could do without all of the endless grooming appointments that come with them? Well, we’ve got you covered! Our Basenji–Keeshond puppies (or Keesenjis as we like to call them) bring together the best of both worlds: the intelligence and confidence of the Basenji, mixed with the friendly, gentle nature of the Keeshond along with a coat that’s much easier to care for, and not to mention very trainable! These little charmers have all the personality you could ask for. They’re playful without being too wild, will keep you laughing and love you unconditionally. You’ll notice their unique look right away, soft, fluffy coats that don’t require constant brushing, eyes that are full of curiosity, and those alert little ears that make them look like they’re always up to something. A lot of people say they look like miniature German Shepherds! Another great thing is they don’t bark much! They inherited this trait from their mama Casey. No matter what you are doing, these pups love being a part of the action. I’ll be honest, I didn’t plan the first litter that came along at the end of 2024, but I couldn’t be happier that it happened. Sometimes life has a funny way of surprising us in the best possible way. These puppies turned out to be one of those surprises, and they have a way of stealing hearts wherever they go.
